Hair on a weft is stiched on the top, used for weaving,bonding,wig making or hair systems. Hair for weaving is usually sold by the ounce, on-line it's sold in 1/4lb. units. How much hair an individual needs depends on the desired style and the size of the individual's head. For a partial to average weave use 1/4lb. (1 unit). For a very full weave use 1/2 lb.{2 units).
Note: Thinner weaves tend to be more natural so 1/4lb. to 1/2 lb. is generally sufficient.
